Watching Illinois and Minnesota in a wild one. Taylor is playing well - 13 points at the moment after Godbold fouled out. Banham for Minnesota is very impressive. As a soph, she just scored her 1000th point in this game. Very good scorer in a lot of facets. Smart too. If you like offense, this is the game for you....85-82 Illini with 2:19 to go.

Both Penn and Godbold are seniors and are the two top scorers and rebounders
on the team. Illinois is going to lose a lot to graduation. Their incoming class
contains no blue chip kids that I'm aware of, so yes, next year could be a lean
year for the Illini.
