Tubby was the wrong guy for a place with crazy expectations. Tubby is a very solid coach, but recruiting isn't his thing. Georgia was a perfect spot for him because expectations were reasonable, and there's enough local talent that he doesn't have to kill himself pulling in enough solid players to put a competitive team on the floor. A return to UGA to finish out his career wouldn't be a bad move.
Penny will bring in players, but who will coach them? Even with talent, if he tries to play undisciplined street ball, Cincy will grind his team to dust, and it probably won't be much better against Houston, and Wichita.
