Watching the Serbia-Greece game and after a Serb 3, the color guy said, "Bogdonovic sankly calmed that shot" That's even worse than "icky-balooky".

You know who was truly awful announcing, the ex-Husky Sean ? who did the football game yesterday. God he made Johnny Most and Tommy Heinsohn look like they didn't like the home team.....God awful.....

Block party on fire ala Dickey Simpkins. Miss that guy.

Dickie was so bad that he was in fact the best color guy ever. Just the way it works .

It would be nice if that kind of mistake was the worst thing about the announcing for this thing. I've seen games in this event where I very much doubted that the announcers knew the rules of basketball.

Umm. Pretty sure there are like 12-14 rows that can't watch the game from under that flag.

I was wondering about that too. Even if they pull out the flag during timeouts. I would think it would take most of the TO get is stretched out and get everyone to grab hold. But it still looks cool as hell. Of course I'm a patriotic Lithuanian that bleeds yellow, green and red, so what do I know?? :)

Yeah, I doubt the flag is out all day. With a little practice, they can unfurl it within 10 or 15 seconds and still get shown on TV during the break.
