It was almost the best afternoon and the worst afternoon in the span of two hours.

High Point made its first ever NCAA tournament last season, had to replace 11 players (4 portal, 7 graduation) and their head coach. This season 31-4 and moving on the weekend.

Good for HP. A place that is bypassed by most, either to the north going to Greensboro/Winston Salem or points West or to the South heading for Charlotte or points South. I think the only time I made it into High Point was to hit a BBQ place that was well worth the trip. I've eaten a lot of NC style BBQ and it's great. As is KC, Texas and other sundry styles. What NC Q has is hush puppies. I'm in Florida now, which has not BBQ worth a darn. I sooo miss good hush puppies. Corn meal at it's best. So yeah, go High Point!
