Travel from Boston to Gampel

Is there a convenient way to do this if you don't own a car? I am capable of using zipcar, but that can get expensive. Are there other Boston Huskies fans who carpool to Gampel?

I know Peter Pan does buses to Boston from Storrs.

I checked that out on their site, and the times seem very inconvenient compared to driving directly.
