Anyone know of any bus trips planned for the Fenway Bowl Game sponsored by UConn or others? Parking can be tricky.

Whenever I got to Boston I like to hop train in Worcester. It's about an hour ride into city but it stops right at Fenway and gives you an extra sobering hour before driving on return trip.
The commuter rail offers unlimited trips for $10 on weekends and there's a Worcester Line stop on Lansdowne Street next to Fenway.
It leaves Worcester at 5:10, 7:10, and 9:10 on the morning of the game and gets to Lansdowne at 6:31, 8:31, or 10:31. The last one is kinda close to kickoff but it's a good last resort option.

If Worcester/Framingham/Natick isn't convenient, as long as you get on the B/C/D trains for the Green Line (don't take the E) while you're in the city, you'll be an 8-minute walk from the stadium when you get off at Kenmore. (Kenmore is actually closer to Fenway Park than the "Fenway" stop)
If you're coming from the shoreline and traveling through Providence, go all the way to South Station, hop north on the Red Line for two stops to Park Street and then get the Green Line there to Kenmore.

Just what makes you think any UConn fans would need a sobering hour?
Definitely, and right across the street is Game On, which was the UConn pregame spot before the hockey team played at Fenway in January 2023.

Last I checked the Amtrak from Bridgeport/New Haven was a reasonable cost. 120 bucks round trip. South Bay Station then a 20 minute walk to Fenway. Rather do that than drive that early. Would be spending close to that filling up twice.

That would be Back Bay Station. South Station is further into the city, you don't want to go all the way

Myfunbus.com. Cost says $160.00 bus fare including ticket and breakfast. leaves from Waterbury Southington and Glastonbury. Register online. $20,00 deposit required. I believe the seats are endzone. If minimum requirement is not met whatever that is, all monies will be refunded.

I've done that trip for $30 before but Amtrak uses capacity pricing (more full the train is the higher the price) and obviously the holidays are slammed. But that's my plan, got a refundable tix for Sat Night and Sunday morning depending on if I feel like staying the night with friends.
They can do that or they can take the Orange Line into the Downtown Crossing stop and walk over to the Green Line stop of Park Street and take any outbound Green Line train to Kenmore. The walk from the Downtown Crossing stop to Park Street is in the underground concourse within the subway so they won't have to pay for another subway ticket or get charged another ride if they get the Charlie Card.

The Town of Bolton Rec Department is running a charter bus to the Wasabi Fenway Bowl leaving from the Bolton Commuter Lot (Route 44) the morning of the 28th and returning after the game. Price is $57 which obviously does not include a ticket to the game.
So far there are 25 folks signed up, but we need 35 minimum for it to run. This is a very relaxing way to get to the game, no worries about parking or taking the MBTA. Non-residents of Bolton are WELCOME. The deadline is Monday. Sign up below:

Is getting to Fenway in the morning Via uber going to be a disaster? I would assume not since it's 11 am on a Saturday but I don't know Boston enough. I am planning to drive up in the morning, park my car around my hotel near Downtown Crossing, then either Uber or take the T (which doesnt look very fast) up to Fenway.

It takes like 20 minutes to get from the Downtown Crossing area to Fenway via the Green Line. Pretty unlikely that Uber will be significantly faster on the Saturday morning before Christmas, and it will definitely be 5-20x as expensive.

Town of Bolton has a bus leaving from their commuter parking lot that morning. They need four more riders as of yesterday morning and they have space for 16 more beyond that. Cost is $57 for the round trip.

With what I was looking at for hotel rates compared to NYC, I am expecting Boston to be a ghost town around Christmas. Everything was so cheap.

Those 20 minute walks not looking as fun with 45mph wind gusts. Bring a good hat and have a plan. This should be interesting for the game plans of both teams.
