I’m not sure that Lou’s minutes will impact the minutes at the 2 guard, unless either ONO or Touly establish themselves as front court starters along with Pheesa & MW. At TX there are 5 returning guards including 3 who were part of the regular rotation along with 2 highly rated freshmen.  Add in another highly rated freshman guard this coming year and minutes will be at a premium.

Ultimately, I believe this comes down to a difference in philosophy between Aston & Auriemma.  Aston had an extra scholarship and figured what the hell, it’s just one more player?  Geno had several extra scholarships and decided to stick with the players he had.
