Transfer concern?

If Danny cant leverage this huge run in the Tourney with top-talent transfers, we are in big trouble...
We lost the national championship game one week ago. To even be talking about big trouble is so beyond premature ....

One more point -- with everyone being a free agent every year on year to year contracts, there will be some years when even the best programs have really down years. That is inevitable. I don't want next year to be a subpar year for UConn, but there will be some years where you lose targets you want too late for a good backup plan to be affected. Be ready for it.

How what is shaping out? What dominos are you seeing lining up?
I don't have any inside information other than the rumblings we've all seen, but I'm feeling very confident we'll be quite happy about who ends up returning next year. Once that is settled, we can go all in on transfers. Which according to SC, we're in a great position to land some big ones. I trust this staff, they know what they're doing

I stand by my decision that there was enough exaggeration for the reader to understand it was a satirical post.

I'm retrospect I might have overestimated the intelligence of my readers, though.
As a general matter, a poster can't assume a post won't be read literally. I accept blame for this when I post something and folks don't get it. In this case, however, I agree with you that it's hard to believe anyone could have taken that post literally.

Who are you hoping for personally? The team the group of guys that can complete this team?

.-.
The guys who go for the money are prioritizing life. This may be their one big opportunity for a life changing score. Let's not pretend that these players are scholars on the way to the Supreme Court or stars on their way to the NBA Finals. Most will get Mediocre jobs or have to leave the country. Or worse, get injured. Even a half a million is huge money when you come from nothing.
GO FOR IT GUYS. IT MAY BE YOU LAST BEST CHANCE.

We were really on him for a while but I doubt we go down that road again because we look pretty set at guard and need to put our resources towards the froncourt.

I would watch Nova here. With Acaden Lewis in the portal they've been linked to Kayden Mingo and it seems like the brothers want to play together.

I wonder if the European players are hard to coach "hard", Hurley style etc. With the stacking of Actions and continuous movement, you would think the elite European players would be attracted to the Program.

I would think UConn's 'budget' is whatever we need to pay, or close to it. This is the new reality of NIL I believe. We have to be competitive with the other top ten to fifteen programs, and yet still get 'our guys' that fit the program and culture.

Donnie Freeman is a player, can score from anywhere on the floor. No stretch 4 here, Freeman has some power to his game. Good size and weight for the position, listed at 6'9 230, 2 years of eligibility.
