Training Dates?

I've spent at least five minutes on the Uconn football website and haven't found the dates, so does anyone know when fall practices start?

Can't be too far out. The first game is on August 29th which is 32 days from now. My vague memory has 30 days from first practice to first game, so it should be some time this week.

So...the AAC meetings are this week and UConn opens up fall practice this week. Meanwhile...our supposed top beat writer hasn't posted anything on his blog in a week? WTF does he do? The HC has to tweet the schedule?

Serious question....is he still the UConn football main reporter for the Courant? Being in Atlanta...I don't stay on top of the CT papers like I used to.

I think Dez's problem.....is that he has a very thin skin and does not take to criticism kindly. As a result, he's pretty much mailed it in because he doesn't feel his efforts in the past have been appreciated. I was in the lumber yard in Ann Arbor and when Dez paid a visit they chanted his name. He was a workhorse.

He's not alone though. Camp opens this week and we have gotten very little from any of the state horde. I've NEVER seen things this dead in a long time. Even on here.

Unfortunately, this is an example of why HCPP is not the best man for the job. UConn desperately needs some energy and hype around the program. PP isn't going to deliver that. To be fair....RE wouldn't have done that either.

I had it in my head that, in the past, we knew much earlier about the dates for fall practice and the public practices.

I did a little research and found that we did, but it's not like the news is a week or two overdue. I looked at 2012 and 2010 and the first mention by DC about fall practice dates was on July 27 for both years.

Obviously, I would have liked it if we already knew the information for this year, but I'm not going to gripe much if it gets released in the next couple of days.
