It's usually this time of the year where we bemoan getting the late game in the semifinals. So now with it being announced that UConn has a 7pm ET tipoff we can watch the game and go to bed our normal time unless 1) We choose to stay up and watch the second game 2) We're too ecstatic to sleep if UConn wins or 3) Too miserable to sleep if UConn loses.

Having to stay up and watch the late game is of course a first world problem to have. Fans of many other programs would love to be where we are right now and would watch the game at 3 am their time just to see their team in the Final Four.

I think that UCLA being in the other game helped with UConn getting the early game.

It will be at 4 pm local time. Normally it is a two hour difference except that Arizona generally does not recognize daylight savings time, so they are three hours behind us easterners now.

Oddly enough, an exception in Arizona for the Navajo Nation in northeastern Arizona, which does recognize DST. Learn something new every day.

If they ae trying to promote the game, why is the National Championship game in the middle of the afternoon on Easter Sunday. Many people will be sitting down for Easter dinner in someone else's home, including me. I have to record it and watch later so I can do my gametime critiquing in private. LOL. What is wrong with Sunday night?
