There is not a worse loss in our 1A history. Not even close. The reason it isn't close there was no signs of hope on offense, defense or special teams. Time out used in the first f@@kin half ars.hole maybe gets us a score.

Outside of Whitmer and Phillips...nothing, nada, zilch.

MD will blitz on every play. Michigan will blitz on every play, etc., etc., Opposing offenses will sit in the pocket all day until someone gets open.

When we had tough losses I could always find something to grasp onto for hope. Right now I got nothing.

I will be shooting off an email to Warde in the next few days, as we all should. If his email box and VM don't blow up then it means no one cares anyways.

Worst part for me was when they showed a Terry Caulley run from the 1st game at The Rent on the brand-new video board. That's when it hit me that this program is worse now than it was 10 years ago. I used to say that P was killing this program. Not anymore, mission accomplished.

There was a time not all that long ago when the year after year the UCONN O-line often kicked buttocks. It was perhaps most on display in the game against Notre Dame when the football elite were handed their lunch pail. Where has that toughness gone? I doubt it is simply the players, after all the players back then were not heralded coming out of high school. Perhaps, I am wrong but I think it is coaching - the o-line to some extent reflects the strength and will of their coach. GDL has had enough time to develop an o-line and has completely and utterly failed. He has created a problem where none existed before his arrival.

That ND team stunk. Stop pretending there was anything here, youre living in a fantasy land. That yukon team was only a slightly less stinky pile of garbage than ND. This current talent is par for the course, just worse coaching.

Agreed because back then UConn had accomplished nothing in football. Fast forward to now, and WTF has happened to the former Fiesta Bowl participants? Retorical question, I can cite many reasons for the fall from grace, but hiring PP will do for now along with UConn's absolute ineptitude year upon year to play an exciting, modern brand of offense.

This loss wasn't tough. It was embarrassing, disgraceful, and inept. And worst of all, not surprising in the least. PP and GDL only had one way to crater the program even more. Touché, they got it done last night. This loss was PASSIVE and WEAK, and sadly we saw it coming from the first quarter on. This would be the toughest loss if it was a close game maybe, but it wasn't. Towson is better. Let that sink in.

This might be a tough loss if I had belief in the direction of the program. Honestly, as the game was drawing towards a close, I felt nothing. Not angry, not sadness, but rather resignation to it. Maybe that is what makes it tough.

I'm just happy people at the game at least cared enough to boo, because I would just sit in silence and wait for it to be over.
