Looks like highly touted freshman, Wayne Blackshear, is out for the year due to a shoulder injury in practice. Another tough loss for the cards.

That sucks for them- he was going to be a big part of their attack this year but they are loaded and deep. He had a bad shoulder before the year started from what I heard- must have aggravated the injury.

At the risk of being overly pessimistic for the him, I don't like the fact that he suffered a serious injury to the other shoulder 6 months ago. Hope he can manage to return in a like-new condition. We'll see.

Unfortunately, it was the other (right) shoulder that he injured.
