Sign of the times...three players on that list go to a prep in Vermont while only a single top 150 player remains in New York City.

Why does Pitt have two top-50 guys? Why?
Mustapha Heron's dad is good buddies with a Pitt assistant, the interesting thing is 100% of picks for him on 247 are for Kentucky because of Barry Rohrssen.

I personally don't think that commitment will stand. I've heard talk of him decommitting from Pitt this year and committing the UK for their 2015 class instead of 2016.

He's not going to Pittsburgh - said it the day he committed.

Agreed, pretty sure he's Kentucky bound. Heron is a really good player and can do a bit of everything, I'm just not sure what position he projects as. He has a strong handle and already has a college body but at what position? He has said if he doesn't grow any taller he wants to be a point.

3 - Have you heard anything about UConn interest in Bruce Brown. I saw him play at the Dallas EYBL and was very impressed with his defense and tenaciousness. Kid is probably undersized for a 2 (listed at 6-3, probably a little shorter), but he's pretty explosive and definitely competitive. Being a local kid, I would think KO would have at least expressed some interest, even if an offer hasn't been made..

I've seen him in person like 4 times. He has everything you need with the exception of a working jump shot. His jumper is not good. He's perfect fit for Pittsburgh

surprised tatum/jackson/giles aren't the top spot, seeing the summer they have just come off. Not really a big fan of maker.

Sorry, did you just say you are not a fan of a 7'1 kid in the video below? you must not be a fan of basketball, talent, and or awesome.

I just disagree with the hype of him being the next KG, mixed with durant. while he does possess nice shooting mechanics for a 7 footer, i just don't see how his game would translate. Don't see him as a better prospect than dennis smith, giles (even coming off acl injury), jackson, or tatum. We will see though there is talk of reclassifying/ skipping college.

I agree with this. He absolutely has the best highlight videos in the class and is definitely a top 5 talent. Don't take this as me being down on him. He will probably be a very good NBA player for a very long time but he just doesn't seem to dominate games like you would expect when you hear these KG and KD comparisons. He seems more like a rich man's version of Perry Jones III than a Kevin Durant.
