Someone shared this on Reddit and I thought it was pretty cool. Before knowing the results, I assumed UConn had to be pretty high on the list.

More interesting for me is percentage of threes attempted by opponents of total shots. UConn is fourth at 25.3 percent. Either UConn doesn't allow threes, or they happened to play 13 teams who don't take them.

UConn is also 11th at allowing long twos at 34.9 percent of opponent shots.

That is a pretty winning formula. Limit threes taken and allow long twos.

UConn does allow a decent number of close twos.

On the flip side, UConn takes a good percentage of their shots from three at nearly 43% of all shots. 37% of shots as close twos and only 20 % from long twos.

That's just good shot selection.

I wish I could find data on closest defender distance from shooter on shots. I bet UConn has a good rate there. I can only find the NBA data there though.
