Krysten Peek sits down with the five-star guard heading to UConn next year, Stephon Castle. Castle talks committing to the Huskies early, advice from his dad who played at Wake Forrest, goals for his senior season and what he's most looking forward to playing for coach Hurley next season.

He mentions a potential Indiana matchup next year as not official. Hmmm not a bad game. I wonder if Home or Away?

.-.
Man the state of GA has some PGs this year, including Castle three PGs from GA in the top 10 on that rivals list.

Kentucky with 4 top 10 recruits- just so they can have an early exit from the NCAA tourney. :D

So strong, so good with the ball, gets by his man, would give us the big thing we're missing this year.........someone who can get to the rim and score or pass inside or to the wings.
If his shooting has improved as much as we've been told, and the right guys stay, it should be a "special" year...........

I’m hoping with Castle as a projected starter next year, we keep with the tall starting lineup again. I think it’s great for defending the perimeter and the versatility. I’m gonna wait to judge his defense until he’s gone through the Hurley boot camp this off season.

So i guess we’ve written off this year. We’re on to Castle and we thank you for your services Sanogo. Don’t let the door hit you in the @&!.

Future is so bright. Castle, Karaban, and Clingan are gonna be so good next year. The kid id want back the most with that group is Hawk. He fits so well with them.
But what is lacking this year is a true point guard Castle is not and neither are the other five recruits No pure point guard not winning anything as we are now seeing and it gets worse every game

I’m pretty sure he’s joking

From Hoophall Classic. Not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing.

The major take-away was that NBA scouts are as divided on the 2023 class as we are. One scout agreed with Isaiah Collier atop the class, another said Justin Edwards reminded them of “RJ Barrett light,” and a third said that they thought Stephon Castle should be in the mix for number one.

I think thats great. We`re getting a player who some think is the best HS player in the country? Im ok with a one and done if hes going to ball out from day 1.

Saying that after the 6-20 performance must mean he really looked the part. Not a far climb from 10 to top 3…

Ummm, yes I was kidding. . Debbie down arrow @husky429 just needs to lighten up. Kinda hard though after tonight. There is a cigarette butt in the dumpster - hopefully it doesn’t turn into a full on fire.

SJU is pretty desperate for fans too

Newton HS is not a small high school though lol. It's in the highest classification in Georgia with 2,000+ students.
Saw Castle play again last night, they lost to Parkview but Stephon had 20 pts, 5 reb, 4 ast, 3 stl. Dominique Wilkins' son plays at Parkview, he's a sophomore had 26, he's gonna be good too

This is a joke right? We have tall guards right now and we suck. We can't stop the dribble drive at all because we have no lateral speed and you want more of this?

Ahahahhahhahhahhaha, what a ridiculous lineup. Karaban at the 3? Please, maybe one person in this lineup can dribble.
One would hope a junior Hawkins could dribble. And Karaban is much more of a 3 than a 4 imo
