Mel Kiper says Mike Glennon of NC St. should/will be the top QB drafted. Did he look it to you? Maybe on that long pass that beat us, but I'm glad I'm not an NFL scout. I'd go broke with my evaluations..

Scouts love Glennon, always have. He has the size and arm strength. Will he pan out? Who knows. Scouts loved a lot of QBs in 1st round who never panned out. And Geno Smith is not the next best, no way. We can come back and 3 years and i will man up if I am worng, but the NFL playus D and he is not up to playing at a high level at the next level. He was a product of a system and a conference that believes the first one to 50 wins. If his shoulder is fine, Barkley is far ahead of Geno.

He's not an NFL scout. He was the first to peddle his grading to NFL teams and I give him credit for creating that industry, but it doesn't make him a good NFL scout any more than Kim Kardashian's money and success makes her a good actress.

I saw nothing in Glennon that made me think he was more talented than Orlovsky in '04, and frankly, that long TD pass -- which was only completed with a circus catch by the WR -- came with Blidi on the bench with leg cramps.
