4. Connecticut Huskies

The defending national champs did a nice job despite losing a good amount from last season. Kevin Ollie and Co. will face a trio of top 10 teams (Duke, Florida, Texas) and also go on the road to play Gators and Stanford (top 25-ish). There are a couple of cupcakes on the schedule (Bryant and Coppin State), but it’s a quality slate.

Home: Texas, Temple, Yale, Columbia, Central Connecticut, Bryant, Coppin State
Neutral: Duke (N.J.), Puerto Rico (Charleston, Dayton/Texas A&M and one more TBD)
Road: Florida, Stanford

So when did Temple become Non-Conference? Wow the people that write these things need to know their stuff.

discount article off top: pork author lists temple as nonconf home game

he donts know temple owls from nitz templar or that temple is in aac which is UCONN purgatory

Just shows what a dudie our conference is- no one even knows who's in it.

He obviously likes to bait UK fans for hate clicks. They are playing UNC, Texas, Kansas, Louisville (all top 10) plus UCLA and a decent Providence.

True.

But after College of Charleston, we get Dayton or Texas A&M.

Then, likely New Mexico or West Virginia.

So, our OOC, best case scenario (preseason KenPom), looks like this:

Duke - N (1)
Florida - A (7)
Texas - H (19 people rate them higher)
Dayton - N (50)
New Mexico - N (52)
Stanford - A (54)

Kentucky's:

Louisville - A (3)
Kansas - N (4)
UCLA - H (13)
Texas - H (19)
UNC - H (20)
Providence - H (54)

I think Texas and UNC are too low; Florida, Duke, UCLA too high.

But notice: they have 1 major away game (in their own state), 1 neutral, and the rest are home. UConn has 1 major home game, 2 true road games, and 3 major neutral court sites.

Exactly. Our home schedule stinks, but the selection committee will like seeing so many tough games away from home. Next year's schedule already looks better from a balance perspective.

but only proves pork author is howdie dudie & doesnt even know what dudie consists of

or how temple owl differs from knights templar or hd temple or a_s dimple
