Fortunately, I think UConn could hire me as HC and I could coach the kids already on campus or who have already signed their LOIs to an NC.I predict that Delaware will upset UCONN, this resulting in the firing of the entire UCONN staff and the loss of every recruit for the next two years.

But you will need a couple of assistants. Who from this board do you hire?
Me!! I can do nothing very well tooooo.....
Good one!I predict that Delaware will upset UCONN, thus resulting in the firing of the entire UCONN staff and the loss of every recruit for the next two years.
My 5th graders are 6-0!!!!!Interesting question. OldeCoach is an obvious starting point- no brainer first hire. I think Sarals just started coaching fifth graders, so she's clearly ready for the big time. Plus she has Texas connections, so we can keep poaching recruits from Baylor.
Throw in Cat and/or DoggyDaddy for their ability to understand strengths and weaknesses of various matchups, and I think we're ready. Scotter can be director of basketball operations and function as the de facto recruiting coordinator.
There you go. Now UConn just has to lose to Delaware, fire its entire staff, and hire me as HC, and I promise you'll have a promotional opportunity. Bring some sweaters- it can get cold up here.My 5th graders are 6-0!!!!!
Only once, in 1989 have the 4 top ranked Women's teams reached the Final Four: Auburn, LA Tech, MD, and Tenn. Do you think it will happen this year?
The odds are against it.
Who will be the first to fall?
I wear my Bobby Knight cableknit sweater for games. It's green, because we're green and white. There you go. Now UConn just has to lose to Delaware, fire its entire staff, and hire me as HC, and I promise you'll have a promotional opportunity. Bring some sweaters- it can get cold up here.
I really think the top four move into the Final Four with relative ease. I don't think I've ever seen a year where exactly four teams have so completely separated themselves from the rest of the pack as this year. Of course upsets happen, as they say, that's why they play the games, but the jump from Stanford to Duke/Kentucky is a pretty good sized chasm.
Im still not convinced that there is a good sized chasm between Stanford and the next few teams. Besides a close loss to UCONN, and a beatdown of Tenn.... what else have they done to prove that they are heads and shoulders above the rest of top 10 teams?
Stanford would need the perfect match-ups and a lot of luck to get to the F4. We have 4 players out, which affect our depth (and skill level). Not much attention has been paid to our injuries, but Camp, the only guard who had a decent game vs. UConn (14 pts) is out for the yr. Alex Green, a very talented guard is also out for the yr. Even worse injury is Ruef. a very good passer and 3 pt shooter- and Jr (experience) is probably out for the yr. Now Boothe is out 4-6 weeks.
The only way we even make it to Fresno is if the frosh, Lindy, and Toni start shooting better. It doesn't pass the eye ball test at the moment for S16 or F4 material.
