As we wait and see whether and who will play on Wednesday against St. John's, here are the top 3 things I want to see:

1) A game;

2) A win, no matter who plays:

3) Everyone who does play, plays hard and we find our team rhythm and mojo quickly with Geno back at the helm.

We will get past this and we will be reconstituted as a team very soon and will be a force to be reckoned with.

A game would be nice. But I'm not hoping for anything. Seems this year, every time we hope, we get our hopes dashed. :(

For all the usual reasons,

1. Caroline

2. Aaliyah

3. Amari

I would like to watch a game where:

1. No one gets hurt and has to be removed from the game.
2. No one gets hurt and is lost for the rest of the season.
3. People who have completed the healing process get to play and no further injuries for the rest of the season.

The rest of the season includes tournament play.

.-.
Just have the 2023 class come in early so we have 10 players for practice.
Don't have a need for a cancelation again
If the game is played show the johnies just exactly where they stand in their up to now cinderella season.:)

1) everybody available and gets at least a few minutes on the court
2) a great preview of what's to come as we build towards #12 this spring
3) all smiles on a rejuvenated squad when the clock ticks down

Azzi, Aubrey & Caroline returning to action at least for a few minutes

Turnovers under 10 for the game

Ayanna and Amari both scoring

.-.
10 healthy players a available and 10 healthy players and a resounding victory at the end.

A win
Steals and points off transition
50/40/90 shooting (we can dream, right?)

1) CD makes another sideline catch with Paige celebrating
2) Amari takes a major step forward and dominates
3) No more bad news of any kind

Since Amari and Ines are the 6th and 7th men, they will be getting a lot of playing time. They will hopefully just concentrate on their defense and floor game and eliminating turnovers. This is a major moment for both of them.

1. Azzi feeling well enough to see some limited action.
2. Amari & Ines getting enough PT to benefit the entire team from being overworked.
3. Edwards playing smart & with less risk by not pushing herself too hard.

1. No injuries
2. No injuries, a comlete team victory
3. No injuries, a complete team victory, Azzi gets in 10 minutes

1. Great offensive and defensive play.
2. Azzi get 10 minutes playing time.
3. A win with no more injuries.

1. Lou with no residual head cold symptoms and full of energy.
2. Nika with smart passes that end up where she wants them.
3. Ms. Edwards please please do not hurt any more chairs!

In her pre-game interview, there was no evidence of a cold
Caroline returning to action at least for a few minutes
I think CD said in the pre-game that Caroline isn't making the trip...Sorry

1. Azzi ( any number of minutes! )
2. Caroline ( ditto )
3. Aaliyah ( when I see her play 30+ minutes, I'll believe )

This, especially #1. CD looked smooth and cool when she caught that ball. Plus, I loved the part where she made sure that her feet were behind the line. :)

On further reflection, and consulting my heart, and hearing that Caroline is unavailable, I find that I must modify my top three things for today’s game, as follows:

1. Azzi
2. Azzi
3. Azzi

As to the seven players tonight we must quote our Shakespeare- "The fewer men, the greater share of the honor." Go Huskies!
