1) Evina to get her shot back and to make 3 threes

2) Paige to take at least 17 shots, her average the last 3 games

3) The defense to hold their leading scorer, Selena Lott, to 12 points or less, in lock down mode

The good news for our Huskies is the steady progress of the pups... Paige is off the charts. I expected her to be good but holy carp! When she's on, she makes the game look so easy. Nika is looking more comfortable and reliable (with some very nifty passes mixed in), and I thought Aaliyah made a very big step up last night. Mir is bottled lightning and only needs to be safely directed to be extremely useful ;).

The not so good news - injuries. Christyn and Aubrey will both be needed in a big way in any big games coming up. Their health should be priority one right now. Evina - something seems a little off (more than just her shot). I hope her knee is holding up ok because she also will be needed in any big games we play. That said:

1) Health - healing for the injured and no further injuries.
2) All the pups stay on track - consistent, incremental improvement.
3) Signs that Evina is coming out of her slump.

As a side note, I never thought I'd see the day when Geno would be ok with a 5-freshman line up (one of whom should still be in HS chronologically) in the 3rd quarter of ANY game, EVER. Bodes very well for the future I'd say... get those shades out, it's gonna be bright.

1. We need a stronger first 10 minutes
2. Liv continues to balance a shoot first or double team pass first mentality. Awareness rather than reaction.
3. Improve our picks and add a double pick like ARK did to us at times.

Note: With our two bigs starting last evening, pick and rolls were bread and better especially for Edwards, be sure to hold the pick a couple of seconds so the defense is drawn into it. The ARK game show up our deficiencies but were great learning experience for our young team which is growing immensely as a result. Thank you Arkansas!

Love your post, want to give it a thousand likes. But I need to point out a slight mistake, you misspelled a word. It's the one after the word holy!;)

1--- Paige and Evina to lead in shots taken (Unless CWill is hot/ and/or showing an ability to efficiently score)

2--- CWill and Nika to be efficient shooting from the perimeter (maybe Mir and Saylor too). The more efficient CWill is then ofc shoot more.

3--- Liv to hit her free throws. (If she can't hit ft's then how often should UCONN keep trying to give her the ball?)

Liv should get as many 'touches' as possible she is the key to our excellent ball movement after the Arkansas game, eh?

1. Build up on the great ball movement from the St. John game
2. Paige to take 20 shots
3. Better defense - Hold Marquette to under 60 points for the game

Keep ONO in the paint as much as possible (on both ends). She shouldnt be at the top of the key with the ball in her hands!
We need ONO at the hi-post so the offense can run smoothly .. at the hi-post she can open up the driving lanes, pass to cutters and hit the foul line jumper.
When she played low, the offense stagnated against TN but opened up dramatically vs Depaul and St Johns when she played high, eh?
