We have had a long rest, with time for Aaliyah to return, so here are my top 3 things:

1) No rust.

2) A ferocious defense.

3) An early explosive run with Paige leading to put the game away right away.

Time to Dance. What are your top 3?

Minutes for Ice & Q
Oodles of points in the paint
Nika 10+ dimes
Do we want to see Nika break the record tomorrow or against Syracuse in her last home game? I vote Monday against Syracuse.

1. Stifling defense
2. Attacking offense: 70 field goal attempts. 20 free throw attempts, 25 3 point attempts
3. Nika gets enough assists to put the record in the books.

Three Wish List items…
1- Paige having a monster game in all categories
2- Edwards showing no rust
3- Shade hitting at least 4 shots beyond the arc

4- Honorable Mention- for Gallagher’s Pizza to deliver my pizza on time. Terrible joke lol.

Winning this game and getting the tournament off to a good start will require the sort of energy and confidence they showed in the BE tournament. Here’s the things that will indicate that to me.
  1. Ice and Aaliyah play 30 mins each, and 20 playing side by side
  2. Q get 3 steals, 2 blocks and 6 rebounds
  3. KK and Ash score 8 pts each in the first quarter.
If we see these things, all the other good things will happen too.

Better tomorrow! Just get it done, that’s the main thing! I must point out that, while unlikely, there is a chance that we aren’t playing anyone on Monday and that if we do, it might not be Syracuse! As I said, unlikely, but possible! As for my three things;
Put the game away early and don’t let them start thinking they can win!
No injuries!
Everyone plays well!

A win and no injuries, of course.

1. Paige Buckets dominates at both ends.

2. Aaliyah Edwards takes no prisoners.

3. Nika Muhl plays lockdown defense and dishes dimes left and right.

1. Play defense as they've played the last 3 games!
2. 6 players in double figures scoring!
3. Nika have 10+ assists and gets the record out of the way!

No injuries is always a definite!

that's easy...............a win with no injuries.............
I agree-- WIN --NO INJURIES.---However, these "easy" games are often looked past to the next--that is dangerous. Stay within the Game you are playing.
If anyone has ever been ""here" before--it is Geno et al.

could easily be a trap game...........they better to be prepared to play a tough rival even if they end up winning easily......there are no second chances in this tournament....
