How fitting to end the season at the place where college basketball became a national institution, Madison Square Garden. It is so very significant that this regular season women's college basketball game was moved to MSG and I know there will be a big crowd there. I have memories of going to games at MSG dating back to the Holiday Festival in the mid 1960s and I will be there Sunday night. These are the 3 things I would like to see:

1) A real machine from start to finish with every cylinder firing.

2) A solid two player effort in the post from Serah and Jana.

3) No unnecessary extra passes.

After this game, plenty of rest before the BE tourney. What are your 3?

A focused team for 40 minutes, no matter who is on the hardwood
better 3pt shooting
less fouling by the bigs

I agree with stay healthy. #1 is a bit of a criticism
  1. Do better than 20-25 minutes of really good basketball. The team has stretches that, for far too long, are average play against opponents that should be much more overmatched.
  2. Serah has 1 more game to show... anything offensive really. She's a really good athlete and solid on defense, but there's a reason she is averaging so few minutes lately (12 minutes vs. Villanova, 16 vs. PC, 12 vs. Georgetown). Based on our expectations, I'd say she's performed well below. Please, Serah, put it all together!!
  3. I get that assists are part of this teams' DNA and that won't change, but hoping for a concerted effort to take the first good shot available.

As for #2-I really think she needed another year here. It took her so long to develop moves without dangerous and unnecessary dribbling. She also had at least two wide open 15 foot shots last night and didn't take them. Why not? she is a very good foul shooter. She had a hard time adjusting to not being the center of the offense when she could have greatly benefitted from the much better passing here.

Dare I say on this Board:

Less obvious frustration on the part of our Head Coach, both facial and gestures, over any less than great play by either SW or JEA. A little Positive Reinforcement works both in the world of business and basketball. His frustration has begot their frustration. It's too late in the season to tear them down; rather it's time, actually past time, to build them up.

1..Either Williams or Jana hav a Dominating game..or both
2 Sara and Azzi play their usual great games
3 as always Defense like every other game

1. More Blanca minutes and production I would love to see the team start with her in the small line at the first tip.
2. Big game from Sarah - show why you are the POTY
3. Let’s start fast, no letup and no starters in the 4th quarter

Bigs show consistent effort on offense and defense.
Ash consistent offense.
Strong, assuming she feels better, more movement on offense. Seems to still have a nagging injury and or health issue.
