Top 3 Things You Want To See Saturday At USC- Game is on Fox at 5:30 pm.

UConn has been playing great defense and a consistent basis up and down the roster. On offense though they have some things to work on and I hope in this game to see the following.
1. Separation in the post between Sereh and UConn 2 behind her
2. I would like to see Fisher work with the first team just a little bit. He up side is really high with this team
3. Blanca to work herself into the spotlight with a big game against a high profile opponent

Go win at outclassed opponent last game.
1. Smooth out the offense.
2. Maintain defensive pressure regardless of who is on the floor.
3. Ducharme hits the rim on a outside shot.

USC is not in the top 10...ranked #16
YES... I was just getting excited about the game. Sorry
to mislead anyone!!! The Michigan game is still
burned into my unconscious! How about... "A TOP 20 SHOWDOWN"!!!

No injuries and a win...
Contain rather than stop Jazzy - do not distort UCONN'S normal defensive approach as no one else can hurt us unless we over commit to her.
Press and go off to the races.
Relax and everyone hits their shots.
That sounds like our gamer plan last year against UCLA and Betts

.-.
1-great defense from the start
2-50% 3 point shooting
3-win by at least 20 points. We know that we are the best team in the country, but with so little big time opponents this year we have to make a statement to show the Texas voters that we are still the team to beat.

1. Have a complete defensive game plan. In the Elite Eight game, we had a good plan for everyone except Rayah Marshall, who scored 23, which I believe was not expected.
2. Kayleigh continues her play against DePaul during this game, including a new season high in points, assists and/or steals.
3. Nothing but good sportsmanship in the postgame handshake line (which I am expecting to happen, but...).

.-.
Just one thing this week. I want Kayleigh to play really really well (preferably really really really well to use a Geno-ism) against her former team.

I quite like Lindsay Gottlieb, but it nags at me that both Heckel and Avery Howell left USC after one season. Kayleigh did say that she wanted to be coached up to her full potential, but Howell's not gonna get that from Judith Light Tina Langley, so it's not just better coaching that they're looking for.

There was lots of buzz last year about a two-tiered system at USC.

.-.
1. Kayleigh Heckel is given a standing ovation when she enters the game.

2. The play of K9 is so impactful, that Geno says at the post-game presser, "We had Kayleigh Heckel and they didn't!"

3. To which Trojan Nation responds, "Yep".
