I think many of us were expecting Audi Crooks but we got Syracuse instead despite her 37 points. We began slowly against UTSA and I'm hoping that it was just the 12 day lay off. So here are my top 3 things:

1) Last home game for Caroline, Azzi and Serah. Let's really rock it from beginning to end.

2) No lazy or unnecessary fouls on defense.

3) At least 80% from the charity stripe.

At this late date there aren't many mysteries about what can be expected of the various players. We're undefeated and an elite team; I'll be more than happy if we keep doing what got us this far. If I can have one wish it would be that for this game and (knock on wood) all the rest going forward, it would be that Allie gets more opportunities to shot threes and makes a bunch.

Love the new time of the game. Two years ago in the same scenario...NCAA
second round against Syracuse in Storrs.they gave us trouble..a win by 7 or 8.

Also of interest: at 7:00 Illinois at Vandy on espn2. Go Blakes and Shea!

A final 8 game of UConn/Vandy would be super fun to watch next weekend.
UConn needs to come out focused tomorrow....unlike how they came out Saturday.
