So, this poster's biggest takeaway from the Providence game was the new center on our team; #8, a reborn Jana. She was everything we have been waiting and hoping for. Just dominating, fully engaged and absorbed in the game. I don't think it is random. I think the light has finally turned on. Allie continues to evolve, K9 had a comeback game as we knew she would and Ash has continued her high level of play beside a point guard dominant performance by KK. So we are still improving and we still need more so here are my top 3 things:

1) Serah? C'mon now. This is your time. Let's get the ball into her often.

2) Sarah and Blanca- Just get healed/better and get back to where you both belong, to quote a famous old song.

3) Turnovers below 10 and turnovers caused above 30. That should do it.

It's fine tuning time. What do you have?

1. As frustrated as I have with with Serah, my want for the next two games and the big east tournament is that Serah & Jana both step up with limited mistakes and lots of rebounds. If we get the 15 & 15 (Freshler40) (or even 10 & 12) from them, we are unbeatable.
2. Sarah looking and playing at 100% and take the 2nd half off
3. Blanca get more time and more comfortable

.-.
1. Serah and Jana SMILING!
2. SARAH, AZZI, and Blanca combine for 60 points.
3. KK, K9, and ASH lead the Defense with less
time on the floor! (by that I mean "physically", not playing time!)
Bonus: Sarah perfect from the charity stripe
with 5 for 5 and closing in on > 50/40/90

Smiling faces on healthy players.
Four quarters of UConn basketball.
Shots going through the rim hitting nothing but net.

Yeah, I'm pretty demanding...
According to Geno, the team is finally over this recent illness and there is a lot of enthusiasm in practice. We will see tonight how it plays out.

In addition to the usual no injuries and a win:

For Geno's observations in his video be obvious within the gameplay: team is less fatigued, getting healthy and are over their brief lull.
For Serah to rise to the challenge of Jana's improvement and have a great all-around game (& for Jana to keep going on her upward trajectory).
For Blanca to be her explosive and efficient best and for Kelis to really demonstrate that she is "getting it."

1. Georgetown "exuberance" producing no injuries.

2. Blanca's rust melted away.

3. Death by a thousand 3s.
