I was so excited about Paige and Aubrey I almost forgot we have a game Monday at noon. We have to run the BE table from here on in so here are my top 3 things:

1) Ice to keep it up. She looks faster, leaner, more confident and more poised out there. Finally, the rust from missing a year seems gone. We have been waiting all season for this.

2) Everyone to be selective with shots and drives and above all else to treat the ball with great care while on offense and get it to Paige and Aaliyah right away.

3) On defense, no one gets a free look from the arc.

1). Ice & Q, when they get on the floor, continuing to play well. No matter if it is 2 minutes or 20 minutes, every second on that floor, give everything you got. Go hard.

2). Team FG shooting up near or above 50%

3). Offense and Defense being assertive on both ends of the floor.

I honestly just think it was a matter of coming back from one year off, learning the offense and defense, and mostly getting into game shape. She seems quicker out there, more confident, and once she starts driving becomes a totally different player. Gotta like what you've seen these last two game especially.

I don't think they have players that are 3 point shooters. When they are inside the arc they are lights out so take the two and leave the three in the garage unless you are feeling it.

This is another great match up for UConn and they should win handily. I look for Paige and AE to have great games and hope to see more of the tall line up with Ice and AE. UConn can win the Big East with no problems but need to work with some length for the NCAA's

Maybe I should have specified single digit turnovers for the whole game, I thought we were going to surpass that in the first quarter. (It worked out okay though, I think we had 6 in the first quarter but then only 4 the rest of the game.)
