Another Season! Here are my top 3 things. I am not mentioning Paige for now except to say that I believe we are seeing the best all-around player ever to wear our uniform. I realize that it was just an exhibition game but 27 points in 27 minutes on 12-14 shooting is just absurd. If you haven't seen her play live, do not miss her this year. She is as thrilling to watch on defense as she is on offense. Without further ado:

1) Jana and Ice to stay out of foul trouble and to move their feet more on defense.

2) Kaitlyn and Sarah to get more comfortable and confident out there. "It's coming".

3) Allie to keep shooting. Just don't rush or press. They will start to drop. When they do it changes the dynamic of the game.

What are your Top 3?

I'll be watching to see if they get off to a slow start. This has been a problem since the last days of the KLS/Collier/Kia/Gabby teams.

What are your Top 3?
(1) JANA score and rebound lke she did in FIFA games. (2) Ashlynn prove last season was jyst the beginning. (3) Less turnovers. ==========Paige is a given, paige will do what Paige always does!!!!

As many players getting as many minutes on the floor as posable.

Jana being able to catch her breath after watching from the bench for 1 1/2 or 2 seasons. I’m not sure how far along the season was when she joined the team.

Kaitlyn taking steps at getting the ball to teammates in scoring position. This has to be a big learning curve having players on the floor that probably are as good as or better than you ant scoring after spending 4 years as not only the point guard but primary scorer.

1. Paige, of course, has ALL-AMERICAN GAME!
2. Kaitlyn and KK become the DYNAMIC DUO!
3. ICE, JANA, and Sarah discover their genius for points, rebounds, and
beautiful passing combinations!
3a. (I just had to do it!) ASH continues to be the GLUE of the
supporting/ scoring cast with Q and Allie. IT'S RAINING THREES!!

Now it is official! Not gonna lie. I missed "Top 3 things" since the season ended. Great to see it back. My top three things I want to see against Boston are:

1). Ball movement

2) Smiles

3). CD making sure players uniforms tops are properly tucked. She has an eye for details! :)

Welcome Back, Huskies!! Handle Your Business!

1. Fewer stupid passes. Some passes against Ft Hays had no hope of getting to their intended targets. Lazy, lazy...

2. Can't do anything about early shots not falling. The worst thing to happen is if the shooters don't believe their shots will fall. The shooters need to keep shooting. They will fall, and did,

3. More productivity out of the bigs. We'll need that as the season progresses. Might as well start against BU.

Three things:
  1. Greater Poise. Like synapses, the UConn offense will round to form with greater poise and repetitions. The desire is there. The talent and synchronicity are slowly peeking through.
  2. Comfort with playing with two posts. The only non-walking wounded with significant advanced experience playing with two posts is Paige and perhaps, Kaitlyn (?).
  3. Kaitlyn continuing to impress — providing a Nika Muhl maturity to the offense — while being a constantly credible offensive threat especially from 3 (her seeming weakness).
Already priced-in:
  • Paige 3.0;
  • Sophomore Leap is real (KK, pending);
  • Sarah is the real deal.

1 - A post player that looks like they actully want to be in the post
2 -Paige - an empatic exclamation staking claim to Player of the Year.
3 - Five players scoring in double digits
3.1 - force 20 turnovers.

Jana to settle into the game.

Allie to find her shoot.

Paige to be more aggressive (that's a ha-ha) Just kick it in 90 seconds earlier.
