EDD had a great game, all within the three-point line (she was O for 2) but 15 for 23, 10 for 12 foul shots, Wow!

Baylor up over UCLA 30-23 at the half. Very surprising score. Game is in Waco and winner will play ND in WNIT final on Sunday.

PSU is supposed to be the top Big 10 team. If EDD and Delaware can pull off more big wins, she and the team will get recognition. Maybe POY is not so far-fetched.

Baylor explodes for 50 points in the 2nd half and beats UCLA 83-50. So, the WNIT final will be ND at Baylor Sunday afternoon. Should be a good one.

Indeed, this was the matchup everyone expected we'd see, and it has come to pass. Not that anyone has an answer for Griner, but ND really doesn't with its short frontcourt. It will take a complete team effort for ND to hang with the LBs.

A team effort to hang and a Herculean effort to win. For the Irish to have a chance, they need either (1) big foul trouble for Griner and/or Syms or (2) Syms to be ice cold. Especially with the home court, I think Baylor is too tough.

They played early last year in Waco. Baylor won by 11 pts. They were almost statistically even in every category, including rebounding and blocks. The one difference was that ND was called for more than twice as many personal fouls (27/12) resulting in Baylor going to the ft line 29 times to ND's 15. It was Pope who took advantage of Griner being double teamed that did more damage to ND. That was the first time ND had faced Baylor and Griner. Got to believe there is a learning curve to facing that type of player. ND had 4 new starters a month in to the season. Hoping that after a year together that it'll be a better game. Griner will get hers. Just don't let the rest of the team beat you.
