I have always expected Blidi to be the first Husky to be drafted.

As far as Blidi has come, being #36 instead of #32 is a $1.2 million kick in the nuts! Pretty sure he'll get paid down the road though.

It's amazing how quickly Sio's stock has risen. We all knew he was a stud. Glad he had the opportunity to show the rest of the world the same thing!

I think the best draft prospect from UCONN is Trevardo Williams, and am shocked that his name hasn't generated more buzz. He is going to be a fantastic OLB in a 3-4.

Injuries make a big difference. TW has been hobbled most of this off season. That cost him his chance in post season all star games, hurt his combine performance, and slowed his pro day. That has cost him the opportunity to show NFL teams his athleticism and makes him more of an unknown quality. This injury has definitely hurt his draft stock and cost him some cash.

Not just injuries, but there isn't much film of him playing the position he will play in the NFL. He's an OLB in a 3-4 scheme but most of his game film is as a hand in the dirt 4-3 DE. Not his fault but it's going to cost him 1-2 rounds because they have to project his production.

You never know, Cody Brown was drafted in the second round and personally I'd take Trevardo over Cody judging by their college careers.

But I think we all knew Cody in the second was a reach. Trevardo has unbelievable speed for a 3-4 olb. I don't think he has stiff hips that will hinder him in coverage either. And "scouts" saying he is poor against the run? I just don't see it.

I want the Packers to get him, but if they don't, I would love to see him on the Chargers with Kendall Reyes, another Husky who should have been drafted higher.

Trevardo has the potential to be very good at the next level in the right system. Though I think Sio has the best potential as he can play any of the linebacker positions in either a 3/4 or a 4/3.

UConn LB Sio Moore, projected as high as the second round, visited the Ravens yesterday and the Cowboys today. Jax/TB to come.

In @NFLDraftible mock draft, #UConn's Sio Moore goes to SF in 2nd round, Blidi Wreh-Wilson to Philly in 3rd Post original url/10FaPq4
>>Sio Moore to 49ers, Blidi Wreh-Wilson to Eagles in mock draft

The NFL Draft Bible released a 75-pick mock draft this morning and thought it was interesting that they had Sio Moore as the first UConn product off the board going 34th overall to the San Francisco 49ers while Blidi Wreh-Wilson wasn't picked until the third round as he went No. 67 to Philadelphia. I know these mock drafts a little more than interesting fodder but figured I would pass it on<<

I would be very surprised if Sio goes first.

The main reason is that CBs are so darn valuable and proto-types like BWW are rare. Five or six CBs will come off the board before two or three LBs.
