Aw, crap. Entering the season, he was one of my more favorite young coaches in the high-major level, but not anymore...
 
Somehow, a Title IX investigation, reportedly including references to stalking Florida coeds, questionable texts, pictures, etc, may not be so Golden. Top off sublime football performance, a purported women’s basketball controversy with a past coach, and other alleged issues now, and UF’s AD may be on a hot seat.

If Golden’s fired or quits, wonder which assistant will potentially takeover as interim coach?

I was always, or at least try, to read news stories with a critical and skeptical lens knowing there are many sides to a story. I especially do this with stories coming from an outlet like the NY Post. But if this is all true, ouch, that is really, really, bad. That's an embarrassment to Golden, his wife, his family, and the University of Florida. Not too mention really bad for the women that were being stalked.

I don’t see how he can survive this and that’s just a reaction after reading the brief amount of information or accusations that have recently surfaced. And using Instagram or social media to stalk these poor female students is just pathetic.

You can separate NY Post opinion pieces from their sports coverage. They've always had awesome sports coverage and they break a lot of sports stories. Minus Mushnick's terrible "sports" opinions.

Yeesh, this sounds bad.

Why would sublime football performance put him in trouble?
 
Why does this type of stuff always happen with coaches at southern schools? Louisville, LSU, Baylor, Arkansas, Memphis, now Florida.

I may have missed this happening up north.

Yeah, at least Bellichick waited until he was no longer employed before dating a cheerleader young enough to be his granddaughter.

It's a student-run paper, but they have high credibility. They were the ones who broke the story that their former university president (Ben Sasse, former U.S. senator from Nebraska) was misusing millions of dollars in state funds for posh six figure jobs for his friends, among many other abuses (e.g., huge, exorbitant parties, etc.)

Mel Tucker Michigan State, he was the second highest paid coach in college football. Joe Paterno Penn State. Rutgers fired two basketball head coaches for abuse. Scummy coaches all over the country.

My nephew is a Junior at UF. Word on campus is it’s true. I’ll reserve judgement for now.

Welp, if there are pics and messages tied to his phone number and/or social media, this one is going to be pretty easy to substantiate.
 
Lon Kruger was at five big time programs. He didn’t leave any of them for being a bad coach. Bo Ryan at Wisconsin. Doesn’t get more north than that. Also, he didn’t leave the program for lousy coaching.

It's strange upstater thinks it's just a Southern thing. I believe upstater lives in Syracuse, I guess he forgot about Bernie Fine and Syracuse isn't all that far from Happy Valley and Sandusky's reign of terror where JoePa and other college officials enabled him.
 
I haven’t sent a d pick since sophomore year in HS 2010. We have to grow up
