Publicly I’m screaming at Muffet for being obviously biased with no diplomacy but of course what should you expect from her.

Secretly I’m cherishing all of this and hoping all the UConn cynics continue their public bashing. I know this will bring some eyebrow raising in the locker room and I can only hope to see UConn vs UCLA with Muffet on the set afterwards to interview Geno and the team. Pls pls pls make this happen.

I think the reveal explains what we all thought, excited for tomorrow.

Muffet never turns down an opportunity to be inopportune.

I personally don't care who the overall #1 seed is. UConn is clearly that to me but if UCLA ends up with it so be it. They were the #1 overall seed last year. I'd caution the bracketeers though because if they grant UCLA the penthouse suite. Geno is going to use that like lightning and UConn will turn into the Avengers.

Do you not know how win streaks work? How do you think Connecticut won 70, 90, and 111 in a row if they had to start from scratch each season? Connecticut has at least four players who played in nearly every game of that 50 win streak.

AND also from the big east, mountain west, southern, ivy, etc. ... even abilene christian; maybe even tufts! so what?

any team can lose if it plays lousy against a determined group of ncaa athletes -- despite their 'conference,' almighty and fearsome or not. it's a sport, why it's played, and why fans watch.
 
The "Quiet Part" out loud: The UConn WBB team will face 6 opponents in the NCAA tournament and will have to defeat them all to win another championship. As Sam Buttrey (of Jeopardy fame) would say, "Bring it!"
 
Muffet’s gotten a bit ahead of herself. The seeding order wasn’t revealed last night, I guess she’s outraged about the reveals some time ago?? Maybe she just put it out there so she can say “told ya so” tonight.

Congratulations to MM in creating a false equivalency. I get the anti-Geno bias of some. Most individuals get over it in time, i.e. Candace Parker. But MM seems Hell bent on taking her resentment for all things Geno & UConn to her grave. From the moment her disastrous and emotional last season at ND ended, she has used every opportunity to throw shade in the direction of Storrs.
