Yes it was. Thought they looked pretty good - better than the white lids.

Blue helmet with the Husky wasn't bad. Still prefer block "C".

It’s a good look. I still think the Block C helmets need to be updated to not look totally out of place. Where there was once gray on the uniforms is now red and the gray trim on the C looks silly. I know the Block C purists would rather die than see it intermingled with red though.

Just about every college FB team now has multiple alternate uni & helmet designs they roll out every week, so there's no reason UConn can't just keep wearing the Block C for some games and Husky logo for others.
