Our D had problems with Diggs last season. This year's conservative D will surely have problems. Our offense can't afford to have a million 3 and outs like they did against Towson and last year's Maryland second half. Need to possess the ball to keep our D fresh.

Diggs tweaked an ankle in garbage time.

Did he? Hmmm. I wonder if that will impact his ability next week.

TD Syracuse, the Cuse RB was jawing at the crowd. Good for him, he's just a freshman, but was not a good show.

I was half watching and the players were kneeling like it was something really bad. I rewound it and it looked
painful but probably not a big deal. He was near the bench without a trainer testing it.

Here is a fun fact. Georgia, South Carolina and Florida all have 1 loss. Stanford hasn't run a play yet.

UCF is a legit threat to Louisville. Really hard to see anyone else.

I can't turn on the computer to watch it but how bad is UMass?

They are pretty bad. They got smoked by Maine who was picked to finish 8th in the CAA. Maine actually took a knee inside the 10 yard line at the end or the score would have been 31 to 14. I know people that went to the game and they are saying same stuff about Molnar as we are about PP.

SMU. Tulsa. This is ridiculous how bad these teams are.

Tulsa has been good for years across multiple coaches, and then they get an invitation to a conference that UConn is in and they suck. SMU is getting carved up.

Despite the freaky number of wins by FCS schools, for the most part we are seeing a consolidation of power in football this year. The permanent AAC schools are 1-5 so far against the power conferences (Cincinnati over Purdue). The MWC is 1-8, with a few late games today. The MWC's one win was Fresno over Rutgers. The AAC is going to be lucky to win 3-4 games a year against the majors.

Tulsa came back to win on a 34 yard FG. The kicker for Tulsa looks like he is about 5'7, 160, and I thought I heard them say it was his second college game. The CSU coach kept calling timeouts before the gamewinning kick, and they kept doing close ups of the Tulsa kicker, who looked absolutely terrified. I am positive he literally soiled his pants before that kick. He made it though, so good for him.

SMU's got a chance to scrape this one out. Down by 5, 35 seconds, 2nd & goal.

TD pass with 12 seconds left. SMU off the hook.

Score another for FCS Nicholls 27, Western Michigan 23. Nicholls gave up a million yards last Oregon last week.

SMU was the better team.

Gilbert really sucks. I have said before that June Jones could take a random kid out of freshman Chem and make him into a decent college QB, but Gilbert is just to stupid. There is no hope with him. No light to go on.

I believe tracking Mike Nebrich is a clear symptom of Stockholm Syndrome.

USC 7, Washington State 7. Cascades of boos for most of first half at Coliseum.

SMU's Garrett Gilbert completed 35 of 48 passes for 317 yards and one TD. In two games, he has thrown for 705 yards and no interceptions
