Today's games

SC fouled like crazy on that previous possesion but no calls. The good thing is a lot of time came off.
That's how SC games have been going this year. The calls against them are almost non existent in the fourth. They get away with murder inside the post, riding the offensive players to the basket, and pushing players out the way on rebounds. I wouldn't be surprised if they had a stack of complaints against them of how the are officiated against.

Stanford up 12-7 over Arizona St. at the first media TO.

Not a game of note, but Utah rallied from down 11 or 12 points, beat Washington St. by 2 on a pair of FTs w/ .5 seconds left. Kind of hate seeing games end that way. Utah is 3-1 and right in the middle of the conference race at this point.

Wazzu split their games over the weekend, but Borislava Hristova was fantastic. Scored 36 and 29 in the 2 games on a combined 29-44 from the field.

.-.
Pivec drilled a halfcourt buzzer beater, Oregon St. up 22-13 after 1Q against USC.

Courtney Ekmark is in fantastic shape

Unfortunately, does not help her play. Beaten to the hole multiple times, hangs out without moving in the corner etc. :(

Oregon St. looks like a completely different team today than they did Friday night against UCLA. Drilling 3's, taking care of the ball, up 30-18 early 2nd Q.

.-.
27-24, card leads Sparky. 4;00 2nd Q. Lots of wild and ill-considered shots being flung...

Oregon St. up 40-28 at halftime (scored 49 points total against UCLA). Got a bit turnover prone at the end of the half. Gulic scored 6 early points and then went to the bench w/ 2 fouls, I think she sat the entire 2nd Q. Grymek had to play big minutes for them.

.-.
Huge 2nd Q for ASU. Up 35-27 at halftime. They were down 17-9 most of the way thru the 1st Q.

.-.
Oregon St. can't take care of the ball. 14 TO's halfway thru 3Q. But USC isn't make them pay for it, Beavers leading 47-33.

Beavers falling apart. TO's 4 or 5 possessions in a row. USC kinda sucks today but they've closed it to 49-39 late in the 3Q. TO's are gonna be the story of the year for OSU. They just cannot take care of the ball.

USC whittled a 14 point deficit down to 4 at the end of the 3Q. OSU should be able to petition the NCAA for immediate eligibility for Slocum because they don't have anybody that can handle the ball. That's a hardship.

22 TO's early in the 4Q. Can the Beavers get to 30?

ASU was up 10 but Stanford has got it back down to 4 heading into 4Q.
