Todays crowd reaction

Interested to hear everyones comments today on crowd reactions when WM starts roaming the sidelines. Will he be booed out of his mind or will he get nothing in the way of a reaction.
My guess is he will come out of the tunnel and not hide in the boxes above. He needs to face the fans today and put up with anything that happens.

Correct me if I'm wrong but it seems to me he has a quiet confidence about himself and in the end Uconn will wind up in a good situation, wherever that is.

I'm jaded. I want to see how the future scheduling works out. I want aggressive marketing of all UConn sporting events. (e.g. I didn't know until last Wednesday that the Hockey team was playing at the XL last Saturday=woeful). I'm sick & tiered of hand shake photo-ops during time outs. I want results (& I want them last week!)

In fairness they did make several announcements of the hockey game during the Pitt football game.

Why would he get booed?? Because the ACC (who is on the verge of losing 4+ more members) didn't invite us? Maybe our administration, including Manuel, should be applauded for not hopping on a sinking ship and costing the university an exit fee to join a conference that might not be the best fit for UConn in the long-term.

Do you know for a FACT that the ACC is losing 4 more teams? Last I checked there's no news of it. Yeah all this s*** happens behind closed doors but whatever. Anyone who is dumb enough to think we should applaud our administration for not getting us into the ACC so we can sit here in this dying conference and dream of getting into the B1G needs their head checked. Until the ACC falls apart like everyone here believes is happening, I'm not applauding anyone for not getting us out of here.

Well said. It's Senior Day...it's a day to honor this great class who played a vital role in delivering our first ever BCS appearance to Connecticut. Spread the word at the tailgate today...kickoff is at 3 today!!!

Yes, let's congratulate Warde for his quiet self confidence...he's been outstanding in getting nothing done on any front and we're last off of a real sinking ship, have a terrible coaching staff, and zero direction. It's certainly a sign of the self esteem generation where you have self confidence without earning it. I stand by my assessment he is woefully inexperienced and incapable of playing with the big boys. The job is more than trolling practices and hanging out on faux vacation in fun game locales.

Sorry my man. Hadn't had my coffee yet and that's never a recipe for success. I wasn't saying anyone should Boo Warde or anyone in the administration. I truly feel that no one has any idea how any of this conference decision making works and it's ridiculous. That being said, I hope you are right and the B1G comes calling but if they don't and the ACC does instead I'd go in a heartbeat. Even if 4 schools leave.
