During the daily Morning Boost segment, The Today Show announced to our Marching Band that they will be a part of the Thanksgiving Macy's Day Parade. The Centennial Parade!!

Way to go Huskies!!!

They did not know until the announce.ent.

Awesome! Must point out the most oft repeated wrong title in America, is the Macys Thanksgiving Day Parade, I'd guess over 90% of the people call it the Thanksgiving Macys Day Parade as you did. My family and friends look at me when I correct them and then call me "Macys Day Richard"

The high school in which I teach at also got chosen to perform at 2026 Macy's Day Parade. They announced it this morning to all band members.

Nope!! Math teacher converted to engineering teacher this current year. I do not like reading or writing about things that I am told to read/write about.

When my daughter's hs orchestra was invited to the Sydney 2000 Olympics, they took all the post grads that were there when it was announced.

I got my fulfillment from playing in Gillette last year and Myrtle/Fenway. I’m glad the band is growing its reach and performing on a bigger stage, our previous director was pushing really hard for it.
