I will not quit on these players. We scream ourselves hoarse (and type ourselves numb) because of you. August 1 - early December (and in some seasons beyond) is my favorite time of year, thanks to you.

Their families have shared them with us for up to five years--thanks Moms and Dads. You talk with us like you know us, not like some odd stranger who wears your son's jersey.

I'll be there November 9, not for the tailgating or the cupcake truck, but for the UCONN football team. I'll high five Adam Mueller (long snappers need props), Trevardo (he's from Bridgeport and my favorite) and the rest in the Husky Walk to show them that we're behind them. No wavering.
