I will say that as someone who has traveled to Japan extensively, I found UConn gear in a small shop in the countryside, and this wasn't a niche athletic shop but a general store. Didn't see Yale, or Puke, or Harvard, but I saw UConn shirts, sou desu ne ^^.

I’ve seen UConn gear in Argentina. When I asked the shop owner in Buenos Aries how was it that he carried UConn gear (only college represented) he said “Taurasi!!. She is one of us”
