Love stats and data but I have a tough time believing Gonzaga and Kansas ( in their current form) have "Final Four" potential and are right on the cusp of "Title Favorites". They are both teams that are flawed as much as we are.

Obviously too early to predict a seed for the tournament, but can you imagine being Texas Tech and over seeded on a 3 line and you get UConn as a 6 seed in your bracket. Tournament is wide open!

I said this to a buddy of mine the other day. I think they got too much press in previous years. It doesn’t feel like they’re getting as much hype as they used to. Scary good team.

I love how much social media hypes the Big 12. Houston and Arizona have come into that league and dominated it. Houston still looks like they’re playing an AAC schedule. No wonder Kansas won 15 years in a row

Too small, not the same team without Shead. Of the top 5 teams on that chart, my least favorite. They can't overwhelm teams that are skilled and well coached with that defense.

The computers love them every year.

I'm not anti-analytics or anything, the numbers are what they are. But Houston and Gonzaga, and Duke to an extent, are every year beloved by every spreadsheet.

With you there - still feel like Iowa St has a fighting chance, but as a whole don’t see them making noise.

Feels like we'd slot in about in the Purdue/Gonzaga area on this graphic if we didn't lose Liam for 5 weeks. That'd put us in the top 10-15 range to win it all. Time will tell; hope we get and stay healthy for March.

No higher seed is going to want to see us the first weekend . My prediction is if we’re a 4-5 we will be the betting favorite in that game . Against a 2-3 . Just a feeling

they are pretty good....but it's hard to tell by how much because they're schedule is so soft in the acc. they did beat auburn by shooting the lights out in what was otherwise one of their worst defensive games, even adjusting for auburn's offense.

What’s the metric for “heart of a champion?” Pretty sure that was in full display Tuesday night. This UConn team has holes compared to the last two years. It’s easy to see why the computers aren’t enamored. But I will again ask this one question……name a higher seed who wants to see UConn in their bracket?
