We don't talk a lot about it here, but its evident we are fortunate to have Senior leadership (4 players) with some having Championship rings and also our Juniors.
Watching last night I discovered that our ace in the hole in not just Bazz but our plethora of experience with so many juniors and seniors. That experience was on display last night and will continue to be. Freshman/Sophomores don't bounce back after an asswhipping like Ville gave us, or certainly not as fast. They played like they totally forgot about it. Not only that but Bazz did not play like he had to redeem himself points wise, he played UConn basketball. DD also didn't go out and try to prove that his performance was a fluke.
It was a new day, new game and only experienced players know how to do that. Even Boat when he was pulled showed his experience by coming back in and doing what the TEAM needed irrespective of personal redemption.
This team is special and full of experience. This really will make a difference the next few weeks. Its March and we've got what a lot of teams don't have. Its exciting (as usual) to be a Husky fan, this time of year.
