Gave him a nice game to call and then held a comfortable lead for him and Donny to chat.
Second game in a row we can say "It was Cole's best game as a Husky". Learning to hit that pull up 12-15 foot jumper has been just what he needed. One to two dribbles to get defender on his hip and then nail the J. He doesn't over penetrate and he has the strength to get and keep separation for his shot.
Glad to see Jackson get as much run as he did.
Martin can be infuriating with some of his starts. That charge he had early in the game was just atrocious.
First half Marquette constantly was doing the arm hook thing with our bigs and the refs didn't call one of them.
Refs were really inconsistent with the hand and touch fouls.
That lineup to finish the game- Cole, Bouk, Gaff, Jackson and Polley is lethal against the press.
Nice job by Hurley subbing and managing bigs in second half while there was foul trouble.
All in all, exactly what UConn needed. Good win at home, worked line ups and rotation. On to the Hall on Tuesday.
