TikToc or Therapy?

I personally feel that Paige should not come back this year. If she did and reinjured her knee Geno would be hunted with pitchforks and burned at the stake. I do have a question, isn't there a maximum number of games that could be played before someone is no longer eligible for a waiver? I recall some players being injured early in the year, having played a few games, and granted a medical waiver for that year. Of course, who knows with the NCAA...

The minimum required time for recovery is 8 months, as I understand it. That would put Paige at April 5 or so, following her August 5 surgery. The tournament ends the prior week. With luck, Paige will at 100% sometime next summer. I don't think she'll be playing in 2022-23, nor do I think it will be under consideration.

The best I could see is playing next summer, either U23 or Pan Am games? That should get the fanbase twitching.

Paige should play sparingly ( at MOST) until next season. MAYBE a year from now. Maybe.
Work aerobically and with resistance laser focused on 23-24
Remember, this happened in a “pick up “ game.
Pan Am games or U23 is a needless risk if she really wants to win a National Champion wearing a UCONN jersey.
