I hope she recovers from the fall and is ready for the UConn game. Would like to see both teams healthy and competing hard.

Bruised Back, unlikely to return tonight according to their Beat Writer.

Kentucky in serious foul trouble unlikely to stay with So Carolina in 2nd half. Carolina shot 19 Free throws, making 13 in 1st half. Seemed like half of KY's fouls were called when they were attempting to rebound the ball. Ky make 5 of 6 free throws in 1st half

She just returned to the sidelines in warmups. Obviously in discomfort but at least she's there walking around.

SC leading by 4 after the 3rd Q thanks to a 9-point differential on FTs.

And that crazy 70 footer by Sessions at the buzzer . I didn't think she could throw it that far.

Kentucky's defense is shabby. Kentucky's offense is 'challenged', to put it nicely.

For SC to beat UCONN, UCONN has to bring their C game while SC will need to deliver an A.

Coates is going to be problem if she plays like tonight. Wonder who guards her. Because of their height, it will be interesting to see how much confidence Geno has in Butler. If SC can't play defense, it won't matter.

She'll be a problem if she gets calls like she did tonight.

Don't expect Butler to play on Monday unless Tuck & Stewie foul out. Tuck can guard her but she can"t guard Tuck,

It was Carolyn Peck tonight.:)

IF So Carolina is able to get the ball down low to Coates and Wilson and get the calls they did tonight they could cause problems. Can't afford to have both Stewie and Morgan get into foul trouble. Don't think Gabby will have the success she has against other teams. So Carolina hasn't faced the quality of defense that UConn has and I would think they will have a more difficult time getting the ball into the low post. So Carolina will have to be a more balanced scoring team if they are to win Monday night.

I think the passes to the post will be highly challenged. Lou, Gabby, and Kia will use their length, and Moriah will use her quickness and sleight of hand. Plus, they won't get position on Morgan or Stewie.

You're obviously not reading the SC boards where it's told the refs screwed the Gamecocks over all night.

Well of course. Typical. On the men's side UCONN played Memphis tonight and their fans were lustily booing every call against them even though UCONN got called for so many fouls Memphis took 36 Free Throws!

And ... the SC women shot 35 Free Throws. Yes obviously they got shafted by the refs

WBB is so horribly officiated that its tough not to get upset watching it. The group tonight was especially a crap show.

That USC had more fouls called in its favor should be the expectation. UK is a much less talented team and their game plan is essentially to be physical with (foul) USC's interior players and guards and trust the officials would not call all of them. That is pretty much always their game plan against USC.

Tonight, they pretty much let their interior players get away with murder on Wilson especially.

From ESPN: It's a back bruise. She will be fine, and will play on Monday. Their reportage, not mine.
