Condolences to the Texas womens basketball team, fan base, and especially Tiffany’s family. She was a heck of a player.

Can anyone share a bit about her playing career? I never heard of her.

Hopefully her message about early detection when it comes to breast cancer will continue to have impact. It's such a vicious disease. :(

4 year star at Texas, played for 8 seasons in the "W", retired in 2018 from the Sparks. Had also been an assistant coach at Texas. Battling breast cancer since 2015.

I often have trouble remembering specifics about former players and who they played for. I think - if I hadn't seen an obit - I could have come up with "Texas" and "WNBA".

Former Texas star, very athletic forward, fun to watch. She was a top 5 recruit out of HS and had a really nice college career, though Texas declined over her 4 years there and Conradt retired after Jackson's senior year. Jackson was the #5 WNBA pick in what turned out to be an underwhelming draft but she carved out a career as a solid role player for many years and likely would've had a longer career had it not been for cancer. Very sad to see her pass so young.

Very sad, my condolences to her loved ones. I remember her freshman year going up against Brittany Hunter (back when she was at Duke). That was a good matchup and I thought they would have many battles down the road, however Brittany’s injuries did not allow her to play at a consistently high level.

As Bballnut90 alluded to, Jackson had a really good career at Texas and was a fun player to watch.
