Wow! McBride went 3/17 against the Mercury. Griner had 18 boards. And the Sun won a game! Quite a night in the WNBA!

It was a crazy day. Good for Atlanta. And Phx... Still can't bring myself to root for the Sun, though.
 
Definitely some surprising results the past 2 days, including Minnesota's lack of offense in the second half against Seattle.
 
And Tiff also had only one foul.You rock, Tiff!
 
Funny, Tiff is 3/4 from downtown, but couldn't sink any short ones
 
Who would have ever thought they would see Griner have more rebounds (18) and points (16) than EDD had points (7).

The second time EDD was not paraded to the FT line and she is held well below her average. Maybe these teams will learn.
 
I watched the Phoenix vs Stars game. Griner didn't get a single shot attemp in the two OTs. She had some nice defensive plays and a HUGE offensive rebound, but the guards and forwards didn't look to pass to her at all. And she established some nice position. Griner will never reach her potential playing with the Mercury.

None of the coaches she's played for in college or the WNBA know how to get the most out of her. She should be the most dominant player in the world.

Wrong team drafted her.

I completely agree. That is why I hope she gets to play for Geno in the Olympics. I think he may be the only coach she gets to play for that knows what to do with her.
