1. Said the study on where on campus to put the new hockey arena will be completed by spring or summer.

2. Said the school understands they need a start of the art complex to compete for national championships.

3. Believes UConn is committed to building the hockey program into a success.

4. Said he wants the team to move from being resilient to being consistent.

5. Said the team is going to have their hands full this weekend against Sacred Heart.

6. Talked highly of the four seniors, Grogan, Latta, Sims, and Harris. He said they understood the culture on the team the coaches want and wanted to focus on the Atlantic this season instead of getting ready for Hockey East because the seniors deserved it.

7. He came off as being a great ambassador for the program and as a person who wants to be at UConn for a long time. Learned a lot from the legendary Coach York and that can only benefit UConn's growth. Great coach to bring us to Hockey East.

Why - What's the harm/rub?
I concur. What's wrong with a freaking AHA championship for the whole D1 past? Mercyhurst and Niagra, heck, even Canisius, have outperformed us in the AHA. At Canisius made it to the NCAA tournament.

Bruce Marshall duckked up.

When the four seniors are your three leading scorers and starting goaltender the coach should be pumping them up if he wants to go anywhere in the playoffs.

I would be surprised if the senior goalie plays one more minute in net for UConn this year. The freshman has way out performed him. As far as the seniors lets see if they can produce against quality teams and under pressure situations. UConn Nation is hoping they do but the individual game statistics this year show a lot on no shows for the seniors including the goalie during meaningful games (not all but the majority). Big time players perform in big games. Go Huskies!
