Ticket sales for Navy

You got the sub base down the street a ways, be nice to see a slew of them show up.

Good idea. Many of the young, single Sailors are stuck on base during the weekend. Easy to give 100-200 tickets the week prior to any home game. Distribute them out amongst the subs and the base commands.

Young military personnel enjoy and appreciate free entertainment.

Wasn't there somewhere that you could buy and donate to a service member or am I making that up?

You can call the ticket office, buy tickets and donate them back to the school to giveaway to service members (or whoever they want). There also might be some sort of military appreciation offer out there (like the Army game) but I'm not 100% certain about that.

Don't trust green dots. The ticket office selectively disburses rows/sections to better spread out fans and make the stadium look more full.

On a slightly related note, I was pretty disappointed with the showing of Army fans. Hopefully the Navy fans represent a little better.
I agree... I expected to see Cadets since EH isn't that far from West Point in comparison to some of the places they travel to.

What's the number to the ticket office? I called Rentschler Field and they said they didn't handle the ticket sales.

Important Phone Numbers: Our office phone number is toll free from anywhere in the U.S. 1-877-AT-UCONN (1-877-288-2666) or 860-486-2724. Our fax number is 860-486-9396.

Thank you Dennis.

Bringing a ton of people to the Rent this weekend. Probably 8-12.

Good friend getting married in the area Friday night. Bunch of us showing up at the Rent the next morning hungover ready to cheer on the Huskies.

I think we can get over 30K for sure.

Would be great to see our first sell out this weekend in a long, long time... Hope they bring up some numbers from S.E. CT and the Navy Sub Base down in Groton for this game too.

Nelson would just wear a red shirt.

It's not looking good. It looks like Navy returned a ton of tickets. I see at least 1 full section of seats available now

So besides my usual gang of 6 (was 16 the last 8 years), I have recruited my father (retired Marine), a few uncles (retired Navy), several cousins (Marine and Navy) and a few friends (retired Navy) to get their butts to this game. Should be an EPIC day.

Going to my first game in 3 years at the rent! Lived down south past few years because of work, so last game was @ SMU (But that was also the year we were in Dallas for another game that I was very fortunate to attend). Very excited to get back and heading out at the crack of dawn with my father (Retired Navy Capt./UConn season ticket holder) and 2 friends. Can't wait! Go Huskies!
