I've decided to check number one off my bucket list and I have a question about Notre Dame ticket.

I was surprised when I went to the Husky site to see I can get a ticket to the Notre Dame game as part of a many pack so I'll have to buy two more tickets to games I won't see. I believe the total cost is slightly above $100 which is much better than the resale market.

Does anyone know if single tickets are available through the University?

I just to the UConn huskies website seems Notre dame is only on the 3 game plan but I tried to purchase 2 tickets but they said 2 together were not available for that game

I have a different question about how they do things at Gampel. My wife is disabled. Sometimes she needs a wheelchair and the rest of the time she walks with a cane. What she cannot do is climb more than two steps. I called to see if there were disability seat tickets for the Notre Dame game. The person I talked to said there were none unless I could get them from a reseller, and I have yet to find a reseller who has them, even if I were willing to pay the ridiculous prices they charge. Ok, fair enough: No tickets.

But it's what they told me next that threw me: They said that disability seating was first come, first served. The website says the same thing. That implies that you could have purchased disability seats and if others got there first, you'd be out of luck. What then? Leave? Try to find a regular seat?

I'm certain that what we have here, as the movie character once said, "is a failure to communicate," because I can't believe that a progressive organization like UConn would not make sufficient accommodations for the disabled. But for the life of me, I can't imagine what they actually meant, because it sounds like they sell a bunch of tickets, regardless of available space, and leave people to their own devices.

Has anyone had any experience with this? Can you translate what they are saying into simple English that a dummy like me can understand?

As always, thank you.

Perhaps by "first come, first serve" they mean there is only a limited area for wheelchairs so they can only sell X number of tickets for that area. That is how I took it to mean. It could be possible that they have indeed hit the limit of X tickets sold for this area, given the particular matchup.

Hopefully someone here can assist further! 😢

I have bought the disability seats. They are very good seats, and they are numbered, so you are not "on your own". The ushers make sure you are in the correct seat. It is just hard to get the seats as many of us have mobility issues

Ok, I understand. It's a communication issue, at least it is to me. It's "first come, first served" not at the arena, which I assumed, but at the box office. What they should be saying is something like, "We have a limited number of seats for disabled patrons, so when they're gone, they're gone, and that's the situation for the game you asked about."
