Based on my earlier post, I'm not at all surprised at the UTenn outcome.
The team simply does not play a recognizable offense.
In half-court they pass it around...try to drive for a layup and/or hope for an offensive rebound.
When they get out in transition, they can be dangerous but get them in the half-court and they are hopeless; especially in the face of a determined defense.

This surely puts the nail in the coffin of an NCAA bid...Oh, I suppose they could go on to the NCAA tourney and win a bunch of games but it seems unlikely.

Have they stopped playing for Holly or a better question....
Did they ever start?

Ha no but I think a win tonight would've made them a lock. The loss leaves a chance they get left out. Still not likely but could happen with an early bad loss in the ACC tourney.

I dont believe a TN class has graduated with a loss to every SEC opponent. 12 of 13 SEC schools have beaten the Vols in the last 4 years. Only Vandy has not. (TN has won 9 straight)

Also seems unlikely that the Vols have ever had a losing record in conference. At 6-8, need to win last 2 games.

based on the generator.... they will likely either face Georgia Tech in the 8/9 game..... or the VPI/Wake winner in the 7/10 game. They will rise to 7 if Duke wins on Sunday

Just tuned to the game. It must be painful for Tamika Catchings to have to watch this. She's doing an excellent job of not showing her disappointment.

Her disappointment slips out a bit. Particularly Renia Davis who made terrible play after terrible play down the stretch. Back to back out of control travels for example.

At least one bad call, but she's been really foul prone. Fouled out in both losses. It's an issue.

She's gonna get two more games in the Hump, so it'll be ok.

Impressed with LSU's Ayana Mitchell (11 and 15), as usual.
