Three more years at Mohegan

I'm very pleased. I love going to the conference tourney there every year. It's easy in/out, parking is free, there's plenty to do in between games without having to leave the venue, etc. Plus I feel that Mohegan Sun does a great job with hosting in general. Certainly I've always had great experiences with the staff.

.-.
At one point, early on when Mohegan Sun started hosting, a few people were critical of the venue as they are opposed to gambling. It was pointed out often that it's possible to get in and out avoiding gambling areas (is this true? I've only been a few times and don't recall), but I was wondering if anyone still objects?

I think it's a great venue, and as @maple pointed out, there is a ton to do there. Sorry Hartford, but Mohegan Sun is substantially better.

Excluding for a moment that it’s a huge advantage for UConn, it is otherwise a great venue.

Minors do not have to walk (and are not permitted, even if accompanied by an adult) in the casino. They walk inside the building, but outside the perimeter of the casino. Parking, restaurants and amenities, including restrooms, are way superior to PeoplesBank Arena in Hartford.
